MAGICAL CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
You are invited to help sponsor our upcoming Magical Christmas in Glenwood celebration!
The Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center is proud to organize the Magical Christmas in Glenwood Celebration!
ALL activities are FREE and open to the public during this time of year, but without the support of local area businesses, organizations,
families and individuals, we cannot offer all that we do.
The Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided to the sponsors in exchange for their financial donations. In order to receive the tax-deduction receipt, checks must be made out to the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center.
December 5: Community Tree Lighting Ceremony/Light up the Town - 5:15 p.m.
In front of the Pope County Courthouse
Lighted Holiday Parade - 5:30 - p.m.
Free Community Supper, Glenwood Lutheran Social Hall - 4:00-7:00 p.m. (Serving 4:00-6:30 p.m.) * Jolly McJingles Balloon Twister (children 12 & under can take home a balloon)
* Coloring Contest Begins - Sheets available at the supper.
* Erickson's Petting Zoo - Horse and Wagon Rides - 5:00-7:00 p.m.
December 12: Family Night and Open House
Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center & Chamber of Commerce Building (7 First Street NW, Glenwood)
4:00-7:00 p.m.
* Santa & Santa Pictures (take your photo home with you)
* Make & Take Activity
* Jolly McJingles - Holiday Bracelet
* Decorate your own sugar cookie

December 14: - Glenwood Day at Andes Tower Hills
Reduce Ticket Prices . Must purchase tickets in advance at the Welcome Center/Chamber Building by 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 13th.
December 15: CP Holiday Train, Glenwood Depot 10:15 to 10:45 (allow time for parking) Musical Guests: Seaforth and Alana Springsteen
December 19 Living Nativity 4:00-7:00 p.m. (7 First Street NW) Lot by Welcome Center/Chamber Building.)
Music Provided by Hope Church 6:00-6:30 p.m.
Free Hot Cider and Cookies courtesy of GrandStay Hotel & Suites
Coloring Contest - Children 12 and under - Coloring Pages will be available at Community Supper, after the 5th at the Welcome Center/Chamber Building and time to color during the Family Night. (all can join)
Santa Treat Day at Minnewaska Area Elementary - Pre-school-3rd Grade, December - Dec. 19 or 20th (TBD)
