MAGICAL CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
You are invited to help sponsor our upcoming Magical Christmas in Glenwood celebration!
The Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center is proud to organize the Magical Christmas in Glenwood Celebration!
ALL activities are FREE and open to the public during this time of year, but without the support of local area businesses, organizations,
families and individuals, we cannot offer all that we do.
The Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services are provided to the sponsors in exchange for their financial donations. In order to receive the tax-deduction receipt, checks must be made out to the Glenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center.
December 7: Community Tree Lighting Ceremony/Light up the Town - 5:15 p.m.
In front of the Pope County Courthouse
Lighted Holiday Parade - 5:30 - p.m.
Free Community Supper, Glenwood Lutheran Social Hall - 4:00-7:00 p.m. (Serving 4:00-6:30 p.m.) * Jolly McJingles Balloon Twister (children 12 & under can take home a balloon)
* Coloring Contest Begins - Sheets available at the supper.
* Erickson's Petting Zoo - Horse and Wagon Rides - 5:00-7:00 p.m.
December CP Rail Lighted Holiday Train, Hearts & Hands Pope County Food Shelf fundraiser at the Glenwood Depot. Performing this year are

No Residential Lighting Contest INSTEAD we are having A Magical Christmas Tour of Lights: (If you want to share your Christmas lights with Other Community Members; enter your address - open to anyone that has a Glenwood address (rural or city).
Coloring Contest - Children 12 and under - Coloring Pages will be available at the Welcome Center/Chamber Building at the Community Supper, Family Night.
Santa Treat Day at December - Pre-school-3rd Grade, December - Minnewaska Area Elementary
