Event Description

Grief touches everyone at some point in life, whether through the loss of a loved one, a change in health, or other major life transitions. This session will provide practical information about what grief is, the different ways it may appear, and how it can affect seniors as well as their families and caregivers.

Join us for a conversation on:

  • Common myths about grief
  • How to recognize when additional support may be needed
  • Resources available in our community

​This free, welcoming session is designed for older adults and their caregivers. Call Kelly to sign up at 320-331-2107. Walk-ins are also welcome.

When: November 13, 2:30p-3:30p followed by a Medicare Open Enrollment Informational Session with Diane Kittelson from Western Prairie Human Services from 3:30p-4:30p. A separate event was created for those who only want to attend the Medicare Open Enrollment session.
