Scouts have a long-standing policy that any child can be a member regardless of financial income. Scouting, as anything, requires expenses such as uniforms, registration fees, and summer camp fees. To help raise much-needed funds for the Northern Lights Council Scouting America, we are hosting our third annual Breakfast for Scouting.
This year Mark (Anthony) Anderson is our guest speaker. The Breakfast for Scouting is an “ask” event. You are invited to a free breakfast program, where you will hear about Scouting in our community. In addition, Scouts of different ages will speak about their experiences and the values and skills that Scouting has taught them. This fundraising event will showcase and support local Cub Scout and Scouts BSA programs in and around the Alexandria, MN area, that include character development, leadership training, organizational skills building, personal responsibility and integrity.
