Dec - April: 2:00 pm at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck 1st Sunday of the Month
May - June and Sept - November: 7 pm at Glenwood Chamber office in Glenwood first Tuesday of the month.

About Us

The mission of Sons of Norway is to promote and to preserve the heritage and culture of Norway, to celebrate our relationship with other Nordic countries, and to provide quality insurance and financial products to our members.

The local chapter in Pope County Minnesota is called Mjøsen Lodge 175.  The Chapter hosts a monthly cultural program.for its members and the general public.  During December - May meetings are held at the Fron Lutheran Church starting at 2:00 pm on the first Sunday of each month.  From June thru July meeting are held at the Glenwood City Park on the 1st Tuesday of each month starting at 7 pm.  Near Midsummer in June the chapter hosts a picnic and program at either Starbuck or Glenwood city park.  In July the neighboring Lodges usually host a group picnic and Scandinavian games and in December a Scandinavian Christmas smorgasbord  is usually held with song, family favorite foods and homemade rømmegrøt and other desserts
